Art Robinson: I oppose tax-financed schooling
"I oppose tax-financed schooling, but suppose that $10,000 each were provided annually to the students for discretionary schooling, and teachers opened schools in their homes. A ten-student tutorial would result in an income to the teacher of $100,000 per year. Tutorials of 30 students, the ordinary current class size, would bring the teacher $300,000 per year."
