Art Robinson: Women in the workplace the "next generational cycle of impoverishment"?
Art Robinson has some pretty strange views on women's rights.
In his newsletter, while ruminating on the "economic well-being" of Americans, made an eye-opened argument about women in the workplace. Take a look:
"During the previous two generations, taxation, regulation, and litigation reduced the economic well-being of average Americans by a factor of about two. Ordinary households responded to this by purchasing lower quality goods, reducing their savings rate to zero, and sending women into the workplace -- the latter, of course, being advertised as a great leap forward in women's rights. The next generational cycle of impoverishment is now underway." (AtE 1/06, Generational Cycle, Page 3)
